The Health Tracker That Keeps Your Data on YOUR Phone

Most health apps collect your most intimate data — mood, medications, symptoms, menstrual cycles — and store it on their servers. Many sell it. ReactLog is architecturally different: there are no servers. Your data never leaves your iPhone.

Your Health App Is Probably Selling Your Data

Health apps routinely share data with advertisers, insurers, and data brokers. In 2024, the FTC fined multiple health apps for sharing sensitive health data without explicit user consent. Period tracking apps were scrutinized following the Dobbs decision for potential data subpoenas in jurisdictions with abortion restrictions. Mental health apps have been caught sharing therapy session data with third-party analytics providers. Even apps that claim "we don't sell your data" often use analytics SDKs that send detailed usage data to third parties.

Here's what gets collected and shared:

What you track

Every symptom, mood shift, medication, and entry reveals health conditions

When you track

Frequency and timing patterns expose behavior and health urgency

Your patterns

Mood cycles, medication routines, symptom correlations reveal diagnoses

The business model is clear: if you're not paying for the app, you're the product. Health apps aren't unique — this is how most free software works. But health data is different. Your health tracking data reveals mental health conditions, reproductive choices, substance use, chronic illness status, and medication history. This isn't just personal. It's weaponizable.

No Servers. Not "Secure Servers." No Servers.

The fundamental difference: ReactLog has no backend infrastructure. There's nowhere for your data to go because there's nowhere to send it. This isn't a marketing strategy. It's the architecture.

Why This Matters

GDPR and CCPA compliance isn't about policy. It's about architecture. ReactLog is compliant by design: we cannot collect what we have no access to. We cannot share what we don't store. We cannot be breached because there's nothing on our servers to breach. Your data doesn't exist anywhere except on your device, under your control.

Track Everything. Share Nothing.

ReactLog supports comprehensive health tracking. Every category stays private to your device.

Health Data Is the Most Sensitive Data You Have

Your health tracking data reveals intimate details about your life: mental health conditions, reproductive choices, substance use, chronic illness status, medication history, and health vulnerabilities. This information is valuable — not to you, but to others.

Who wants your health data?

Insurance Companies

Use data to deny claims, raise premiums, or reject coverage altogether

Employers

Make hiring, promotion, and firing decisions based on health status

Data Brokers

Buy and sell your health data to anyone willing to pay

Law Enforcement

Subpoena period tracking data in abortion restriction jurisdictions

Advertisers

Target vulnerable people based on health conditions and treatment seeking

Marketers

Sell products exploiting health concerns and conditions

ReactLog's business model is straightforward: we charge for the app. We don't need your data because we don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't have investors demanding growth through data monetization. We build software and ask people to pay for it. That's it.

How It Works

ReactLog operates in three simple steps.

1

Download ReactLog

No account creation. No email. No signup flow. Just download and start using. Your data exists only on your device from the moment you open the app.

2

Track What Matters

Log mood, symptoms, medications, sleep, food, exercise, or anything custom. Each entry is processed and stored locally. Nothing is sent anywhere.

3

Discover Patterns

ReactLog analyzes your data on your device to show correlations: what triggers your mood? How does medication timing affect sleep? All intelligence stays on your phone.

Your entire health history. Your device. Nobody else's data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does ReactLog really not collect any data?
Correct. There are no backend servers. No analytics SDKs of any kind. No cloud infrastructure. Your data exists only on your iPhone. We cannot collect data we have no access to. Every query, calculation, and analysis happens on your device.
How does ReactLog make money if they don't sell data?
ReactLog is a paid subscription app (currently free during Early Access). The business model is simple: build a product good enough that people choose to pay for it. We don't need to monetize user data because we're funded by users who value the product. No ads, no data sales, no venture capitalists demanding exponential growth through data harvesting.
Can my health data be subpoenaed?
Since your data exists only on your personal device, it cannot be obtained from ReactLog — there's literally nothing on our servers to hand over. This is the architectural advantage of having no servers. Law enforcement cannot subpoena data we don't possess.
Is ReactLog HIPAA compliant?
ReactLog doesn't store, transmit, or process health data on any server, so HIPAA's server-side requirements don't apply in the traditional sense. Your data stays entirely on your device, under your control. If you're a healthcare provider subject to HIPAA, consult your legal team, but the architecture is fundamentally private by design.
What if I lose my phone?
Your data is stored locally, so if you lose your device without a backup, the data would be lost. This is the tradeoff of true privacy — complete on-device control means local storage risk. We recommend regular iPhone backups via iCloud or Finder. Your backups are encrypted by iOS.
